Business & Financial Administrator 20-40%

Part-time, two-year fixed-term contract starting from 1st Feb. 2027, with possibility of renewal.

 

ARPA Bio is an early-stage biotech spin-off developing innovative approaches to neurodegenerative diseases. We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Finance & Business Administrator to help build the financial and operational foundations of our company.

Your role

Working closely with the founding team, you will:

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, payments, invoicing, expense tracking, and financial administration.

Support budgeting, cash-flow planning, financial reporting, and coordination with external accountants and tax advisers.

Help ensure compliance with Swiss tax requirements, corporate obligations, and relevant business regulations.

Contribute to fundraising activities, investor communications, grant applications, and preparation of financial materials and due-diligence documentation.

Establish practical administrative processes that support an agile, growing biotech startup.

 

Your profile

You bring experience in Swiss accounting, taxation, and business administration, together with a sound understanding of Swiss business law. You are comfortable working independently, managing priorities, and translating financial information into clear, actionable insights. Experience in startups, fundraising, or investor relations is highly valued; an interest in biotechnology and healthcare innovation is a strong plus.
